Same thing happened to me. I just went to a good nut and bolt store and purchased a slighter longer bolt. I believe the long bolts on the head cover are 6mm x 1.0mm X 118. A 6x1x120 grabbed for me but that was the longest bolt they had. But for a backup I just bought a 3ft chunk of 6mm threaded rod to make my own bolt. So far the 6x1x120 took the the torque specs and is not leaking. Hope this helps.

excellent. Ill got hit up the bolt store this week. I may just get a piece of threaded rod like you said and make a stud/nut combo. Im surprised the longer bolt you got didnt bottom out in the threads.

The bolt was only 2mm longer so barely a diff. Like I said I got the threaded rod just in case it wasn't long enough. Just start out slow when torquing it down. I started at like 3lbs gradually working my way to the final torque of 7.2 ft lbs. Hope it works out for ya.

Did the longer bolt or threaded rod work out for you?
