I currently have maxxis razr on my atv and they work great, but I need something with a little more traction and I was going for razr2s but I found these tires called maxxis irazr and they're a radial tire. I just dont know I ride mostly dirt trails with the occasional rocks and some mud. also do you know anything about the ITP mud lite SP?

check the website the irazrs look sic but weigh like 19 lbs each they are very heavy and you might lose a little performance.

Razr2's are most definatly heavier than the iRazr.

I would reccomend the Razr2. Especially if your in an area where you could get sidewall punctures. The iRazr's weakness.

Thanks I'm not really worried about weight that thing is so small and with thea 370cc dirtbike engine and all the mods its almost a 400 a little less power would be nice it will pop a wheelie in 5th.

I own IRAZR's and have had great luck with them, very predictible slide nice, have had zero probs with side wall punctures, some people complain that they wear but i have 6 races on mine an average of 280 miles and they are wearing fine, never rode RAZR 2's so i can't comment on those.

i personaly have these tires their realy not that heavy and they hook up any were and unlike razor2 they self clean really well i love them although they are pricy. Radial construction increases ride comfort and traction.
Tread design provides for responsive steering and predictable braking characteristics.
6-ply for high puncture resistance.

I don't think they are to pricey i bought my rears for 59 and the fronts for 54 so i don't think thats to bad a little over 2 bills for the set.

Good to hear the iRazr's are doing well. I have not used a set. I jsut heard complaints early on about sidewall punctures. Sidewalls may have been a bit thinner on the earlier runs.

If sidewall punctures aren't an issue. They'd make a awsome tire. Excelent all around tread pattern.

the price they show on the net is
22x7x10 is $76.85

i bought these 4 months ago and i walked in there and bought them so there is no shipping involved. I know they are cheaper when you walk in and that price does not reflect what i paid. I am going there this weekend and i can walk into the tire section a check the prices for walk in if you guys like.

That i don't know i live close to there so i just drive there, but like i said i am going there this weekend and i will go into the tire section and check the prices now, i can ship them from my work if someone wanted they would just have to paypal me the money but i will go and check the price this weekend. Thats one of the reasons i bough them was they were cheap and i figured what the hell if i wear the out i am not out a bunch of money, but as far as i am concerned it was a good investment.

razr 2's and dont look back, i think they mounted those things on tanks back in the day. They will hold up to hundreds of miles of road riding, rocks, sticks, other sharp puncturing things, probably even a bullet. They are the best for durability (6ply), lasting time, and traction. They cost a bit more than the razrs but its worth it all day long.

The razr2 the lugs are deeper but if your in real sticky soupy mud the irazr they clean out better

yes good choice, those .190's will hold up to just about anything you can dish out. A friend of mine had them on his predator for a year and he beat the piss outta it haha.

i personaly dont like either of them and I own both. The Razr 2 is just a big goofy tire and the I razr is great, but I hate the wear pattern on them. I only paid $15 for the rear pair. I got them from the Maxxis trailer at the General this past year. Jenks had just taken them off his hipers and i was like how much for those and the guy said $15. I probaly wont ride maxxis again unless they sponsor me.

hey guys, i just replaced my irazrs with a set of razr 2s on my 07 450R, and i mainly do the same riding as you. both tires a really good choices. i honestly would buy irazrs over the razr 2s though, it always finds traction, ŝo do the razr 2s, but the irazrs slide way better than the 2 s. both are really heavy but with a good pipe and jetting the weights of them dončt really factor in your ride. both tires kick *** but the irazrs are the best choice.

I know we are talking about maxxis here, but what about the ITP HD's, are they lighter, cheaper, do they compare to the Razr's?

Holeshot H-D's are big heavy tanks of a tire. They get great traction, but are very heavy from what I hear.

I have owned Razr1's and Razr2's and though the 2's get great traction on the rear, I feel they're too heavy and rob too much hp. My next tire will be Razr1's again. On the other hand, the fronts are the best tire I've ever owned. ;)

I have IRazr's and they slide very well and have great forward bite. The only down side of them are they wear way to fast. I have Razr 2's on the front and love them for a front tire but don't think I would do them on the rear. I will probably do ITP GNCC's on the rear the next time which is comming really soon.

i have been told that the irazrs hook up better thwan anything else out there, but as soon as the edge of the rubber gets worn off its like riding on glass. i would go with the razr2...they are proven to perform
