I have a 400ex with a full exhoust, cam, degree key, 450r carbuarator,scary fast power now and -2 front sproket
i do mostly sand ridding what is a nother good add on for around 200 dollar give or take

the absolut best thing i could thinkj of is duncans 12:1 piston for stock bore. u would have to runw 100 octane min fuel tho. however low maintnace and looottt more power.

ya i plan on gettin a 440 kit in the future but not now is there any thing else

honestly. save your money for the 440 kit. sounds like your bike'll have pleanty of power for out in the dunes. if you dont have em already tho, air shrouds would be a good idea. good set of paddles... otherwise just save up for the major upgrade.

Check my mods, I just got back from St. anthony's and my bike made it up Choke cherry, and devils dune no porb, and ran right next to my buddy yfz450

as a rule of thumb, anything over 11:1 usually it is recommended to install a heavy duty rod and heavy duty head studs.


For that money I would do an 11:1 piston (still run pump) and a CRF timing chain for reliability.
