HI
I just sold my yfz a few weeks ago and went out and bought a 450r (Too much wrenching on the yfz I needed something more reliable). Right now, I have the Sparks full system on it and I like it a lot but it's a little loud. I just moved and now have some land and have room for a little track but theres a house near where I want to start building. Does anybody know of a very quiet aftermarket exhaust for a 450r? I was on the Sparks website and saw the quiet cores but, I have the older style Sparks exhaust so I dont think they'll work. If anybody has any expierence with the quiet core, let me know how it is. Also if anybody knows a very quiet aftermarket exhaust, also let me know. Your help is appreciated.

Thanks again,
Andrew

why dont u ask ur neighbors for permission to have track and mentioning to them if its okay to have a loud quad. you should ask before you look for a new exspensive exhaust

My neighbors are cool with me riding there, they don't care. I just don't want to be an *** and want to keep it as quiet as possible.

i think i read a while ago and correct me if i am wrong, i think you can supertrapp parts on there like the rossier. it looks like it would work because the can is perfectly round.

I have a curtis sparks on my 04 - bought the quiet core also - its the same & then you have to rejet. to answer your question - get an hrc kit & leave it @ that. I just bought an 07 & it has the kit in it - its the best of both worlds.

A stock silencer with the stock insert is as quiet as you could get and with the hrc insert in it ,it is deep sounding and way quieter than most aftermarket ones. You can easily ride along side someone and be able to talk.
