I am going to build a hybrid but I don't know what. I know the most common is a crf450 in a 400ex or a crf450 in a 250 geometry chassis. But I want to build the lightest quad with the most ammount of power possible. I am also going to set it up for riding trails and some motox but more trails. My budget is between $9,000 and $10,000 from start to finish. So what do you guys think I should do?

If your budget is between 9000-10000 I'll sell you mine 9500.00 lol you should really just go ahead and buy one that is already built there are lots of really nice ones forsale and It will be way cheaper, and much less of a headache

for starters, you shouldnt make ten identical threads on it :D :D

with a budget like that i would start with a laeger narrow hybrid chassis, i think matt250r *sp* has one for sale right now. laeger t-pin front end and pep zps suspension. you could build a nice hybrid for cheaper than 9-10k thats for sure

What about something like a 250 2-stroke motor? Would that fit in a blaster frame without too much modification? WHat other frames would accept a 250 2-stoke without a problem. (I am looking for the lighest overall weight possible)
