I pulled the carb on my daughters 06`predator 50 to clean out some stale gas and dirt and all that etc...however when
i pulled the idle screw and the air/fuel mixture screw out i didnt pay any attention to the number of turns out they had. now i cant keep it running. does ANYONE know the factory settings for the two screws on the carb. Please help!!

air screw is started at 3/4 turn out then adjust from there out a little or so . idle screw just depends on where you want it to idle

ok i can get the quad started now....and it will idle for days, but as soon as i give it throttle it starts to choke out. i can kinda ride it on choke but only for a few seconds. i feel like an idiot but i just cant figure this one out. i've got the idle screw set where it sounds like it should be and then the air screw inbetween 3/4 and 1 turn. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP

alright now i'm confused.....i took off the elbow from the air cleaner to the carburetor and then kinda messed with it a little. and i figured out if i put my fingers
over the carb and block majority of the air it will run just fine. i rode around and around and around till i was bored. so i cleaned the filter and installed the elbow back on. now it will just idle again. once again....SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP

clean the main jet, its not getting enough gas when you open the throttle, just getting air and shutting down...

you may have to reclean the whole carb....you may have knocked out of wack when moving it around. Have you checked the plug to see if it is wet..
