4wheelparts might offer all those discounts, but they make up for it in the original price of the tire and then you have to pay shipping on top of that.

Plus, do you have any type of lift on your truck? If not, I'm 99% certain that those tires are going to rub like a mo fo. I'm guessing that with stock suspension, the largest size you can go is 33". You'll probably need at least some type of leveling kit (is that even available for that year?) I know the 02's have torsion bars, but I'm not familiar with what is available as far as lifts go. You may want to do some more research before you buy tires only to find they aren't going to work.

I can't really recommend any tires other than what has been posted already. Anything from Pro Comp, Mickey Thompson, or the Super Swamper line should be fine.

FYI: I had 35x12.50-17" ProComp Mud Terrains on my Titan that were just replaced. I got only 15,000 miles out of them---highly disappointing. Sure they looked cool, but when you have to shell out another $1k for tires every year and a half-it gets old.

we just recently replaced our loud and obnoxious bias tires to BGF radials on our brush truck, they are 33's and now you can at least have a civil conversation inside while being able to drive a straight line :D

if you dont plan on keeping your truck in the mud...id suggest you stay away from a Mud Terrain

Nothing is wrong with them from a design/structural standpoint. They do great at what they are meant to do---MUD. But if you are on a tight budget, like me, you don't want to be replacing tires every 15,000 miles.

I've had Baja Claw Radials-18,000 miles on an S-10, Mud-Terrains- 15,000 miles on my Titan.

I also had Cooper Discoverer S/T's on my old S-10---45,000 miles on the first set. 35,000 on the second set, which are now on my Dad's Wrangler. he has put another 5,000 on them, and they have 3/8" deep tread in the center still.

My opinion, if you seldom venture off-road, get an A/T tire. It will save you money in the long run.

I'd suggest these tires, but they don't offer them in a 20" size. That wheel size limits your options. You may want to consider the ProComp Xtreme A/T.

ProComp Xtreme A/T, available in 35x13.50-20, which is probably too wide for stock wheels. They recommend a 8-11 inch wide wheel. The stockers are probably only 7.5, which is pushing it for a 12.50 tire.

I run the Cooper STT's and love them. I have a new set on the way, and the ones on my truck have over 40k on them.

very wise man right here...i know im running the bfg on my z71 like i said and wouldnt have it any other way...as a matter of a fact when i do go with another set of tires idk if imma either go with the new baja radial ATZ or another set of bfg all terrains...

you will find out that the bigger the tire, the more they cost....and spending 1000 dollars a pop on a set of tires just aint my cup of tea...

Aaaa gotchya ;) i understand where ya comin from now....we (FD) werent worried about tread life since the vehicle its on doesnt get much use but when it does we dont want any concerns as to whether our tires are good enough. Its a 1970 Ford 250 super sport with only 6700 miles on it...so im thinkin that 15,000 tread life should be ok with us hahaha
