Has anyone one tried running a 19 front sprocket and a 35 rear.

One of the tracks we race at has is very small. You go about 50 feet then there is a jump go another 50 feet then there is something else then 50 feet and a turn and so on, the longest straight strech is around 200 to 250 ft just wondering if this gearing would work better

stock on all 06 models was 19/35

my 07 single a-arm was 19/35, i believe that all the newer 07's are the 19/32

I have had good success witht the 19/35 at certain tracks and I only change the front sprocket up to a 20 or 21 for more top end vs changing the rear to a smaller sprocet for top end.

I have even seen guys us 18/32 to get almost the same gear ratio as 19/35

I get them at Spacely's Sprockets lol

bulldog , I have personally posted you notes on the oko carb posts, and you have not even responded, I called out for help as i stood on that pier , alone , desperate , but you never answered, this upsets me greatly, and now you wish you could get pms, thats a girl thing and most of them dont like it. but please bulldog if you do obtain this lofty goal, don't share it with us , this quaint little forum is where i come to escape the scary world of PMS.

Tried the 19/35 this weekend did not work out to good. Zach told me if I left it set up that way he would not race the second moto, added atleast 3secs per lap

How about 18/30 or 18/28

Would the smaller front gear allow the engine to turn anymore RPMs?

we ran an 18 30 last race and the bike fell on its face in the short runs but really picked up speed in the long runs, remember these bikes have the 90 tranny so gearing to tall kills your ability to twist the rpms in an unmodified motor.

going , one tooth smaller on the front is almost is almost the same as adding 3 onthe rear, bigger back sprocket gives more low end, and smaller front gives more low end, thinking about doing the same thing, we run mostly hairscrambles and low end is where it is at

18:30 (1.66 ratio)should be just about the same as a 19:32 (1.68 ratio)..Actually should provide a little more bottom end?

I just picked up a new 07 that is 19/35. Not sure how to know if it new or "old" 07.

What color are the front shocks if they are silver than it was the first run. If they are red then you have the sceond run you said you have a mikuni carb i belive you have this. Third run came through with the oko 21 carb which is a pain .in my opinon the second run was best but changing plugs was a pain they moved the top a --arm forward in the thrid runfor more room to take off the head. why do you need to change sprokets are you going to race . If you are, run the 35 then switch and see what runs better. More straight aways and you can run the 32, if more hils and turns run the 35 for more low end. Its a 50 remeber she aint no power house but will run quick when you get her hooked up. d blacks machine flys and hes got agood agressive rider. When your ready to move to the 70 its really easy .

We do race. I do have the red shocks with Mikuni carb. Thanks for the insight on the different versions of the 07. I am finding out alot about our new race machine on here.

I was simply providing what my new sprocket configuration was for information. I do not plan on changing mine until necessary.
