registration is required, the site says that dcnr rules are in effect and they require reg/ins. This must be somekind of utilty place, I can't think of many sport atv's that are quieter than 90db's and the 25mph limit, thats like bottom of 3rd on my 250r's.

Agreed. I live like 20 min from it but I don't have much of an urge to check it out with those regulations.

I'm not far either but - I understand you are trying to do the right thing to stay in business but 25 mph? insurance & registration - yea if its gov't land ? is it? If its a private park & your looking for riders , I don't think it will work out for you all. I have the same passion as we all do , thats why we are on the web - I don't have an interest in your place because of the rules & I won't show up & do something to get kicked out either. I just want to ride with friends & family & enjoy the day. Sorry. We do need as many places to ride as possible but I don't see us fitting into your program. Good Luck . I truely hope it works for you guys. I'll bookmark your site to see how its going & if there are any changes.

Seems like the perfect place for rich old possers from out of state.

this place is worthless. you'll never see me there...

its GREAT that someone is opening up a new riding park. but with that many rules it is not going to last. the fun of riding is to have freedom.

insurance is fine. a db level is fine but not 90 db. one way trails is fine. but loosen up a bit and you will have a much better turn out.

I agree. I think I'll pass on this place.

I love how their "pre existing" trails they found on the property when they were building the park were made by local riders decades before this park opened. Now they chase those local riders on 800 Polarises because now its a pay to ride park. lol

I don't see it lasting long, too many rules. Where did you find no 2 strokes?? I looked and didn't find that. I wonder if trikes are allowed there, or should I asume with these tight-***** rules they aren't.

Most of the private parks have those same rules and most of the time they are not enforced at all! They just have those to cover there butts in case something happens.

Nah Tower city isn't like that at all. In my opinion it's worth the extra 30 min. drive to get there. And this place seems like the kind of place that would be dickish about speed and sound.

I just figured no 2-strokes because of the 90DB ****, but I plan on taking my little yz85 up there soon to check the place out

In my opinion four-strokes are much, much louder.

they sure can be, expecially my hybrid that has a tc shorty pipe, it can be heard from far away. A newly packed 2 stroke is pretty quiet, the lrd silencer on my 250r is quieter than a stock rincon silencer.

Sure. Have you ever ridden behind a 450 with a TC shorty pipe? It makes your eardrums physically itch. I've heard some 1980's two-strokes that could come close to that sound, but never match it.

riding without packing does more than just make alot more sound, it makes less power also. They run better with the packing. I have a fatboy 2 on my atc250r and the lrd on my 250r quad, the fatboy is louder, its still quiet, the lrd is quite a bit quieter. I really wonder what kind of 250r pipe you had and why would you ride it without packing in it?????????? That sounds like bad maintance to me. Contrary to what people think, more sound doesn't make more power, look a dg and cobra pipes, they are really loud, but they probably make as much or less power than stock.

I didnt do it on purpse, I am not a complete ***, the owner before me beat the **** out of it, and I was starting to fix it up before it blew up, but just because I didnt have the cash to get a new silencer, doesnt mean I wasnt going to ride it..

I'll just stay at Majestic Lost Trails. There rules are ok. Lots of loud pipes there. All are welcome. $15.00 a day, $125.00 a year family. $100.00 a year for a married couple.

I visited there and thought it was some of the most amazing trails I've been on. The trails going up and down the mountain with jumps on them were awesome. Jumping up-hill and jumping down-hill was very cool.

Here's some pictures from our trip to Allegheny National Forest:
