yeah all those bikesd run low 4's in 300 ft/ 100 yd's the one of the guy kneeling down by his bike it runs like 3.9 or somethin it is a 3 cyl. kawasaki

Knighttime, I done told you, its been "running" since I got it! It lost a lot of compression due to the blown head gasket but like I said before its still fastar than yours even with a blown head gasket!! Its still faster than my 416 was and im sure my 416 was faster than yours:rolleyes:

I think Chads bike will be FAST!!!.
As far as breaking, it wasn't his fault, he didn't know TC went ahead and put a 12.5:1 piston in....:eek: man, I bet that thing will move :)
Chad, the only thing you need to do is get rid of those friggin 19 inch fronts with the 22 inch paddles...that looks sorry like that dude...lol
TC Put a 12.5 in without you knowing? He didnt even tell you? heh, what if you decided to run pump gas on the compression you thought it had and blew it up? Tom would be a smart man then wouldnt he?

No it wasnt that he didnt tell me, When we first talked about it he said he was putting a 12.5 in it,,well a few weeks before he started the work on the motor he told me if I was going to be doing trail riding then i needed to lower the compression to a 10.5, i told him i would be occasionally trail riding but really didnt want to lose the extra power, but he said power will be there, and you should focus on reliability, so I guess I assumed he was lowering the compression, he never told me he was, I didnt ask him till just the other day,,,,and he told me from the day he shipped it to me to never run anything less then C-14 in it so I woulnt ever have put pump gas in it anyway,,,im so glad that he did use a 12.5 becasue now I can run alky without a problem!!
And about the tires, those are 21' Haulers and I just run them for 1 weekend then i sold them to my friend,,,,,I borrowed my friends front sand tires when I got to the dunes, so i didnt ride it like that!!! it does kinda look funny in that pic!!!!! i wasnt ever expectin to ride the dunes again(i was going to move to Florida) so thats why i bought them, used them once and sold them, and i borrowed the fronts from another friend so i didnt have to buy those too,,,,But ive decided to stay in TX for a while so Ill probably wish i didnt sell them!!!

On the dyno I had her at a top speed of 76 mph and that was before i redid the rebuild on it . I never had a chance to get it on the dyno after that . I sold it to fast to get the chance :( . I would imagine after the rebuild it would have hit around 79 or so . I kick myself for selling it now :mad:

whats the highest u can bore a 400 to??? my friend says if u bore a quad over 100cc, ur header will be beaten to shi*, or can u juss buy a new header or somethin?

Boring or sleeving an engine has no effect on your header, your friend doesnt sound too bright... You can make a 400 a little more than a 505.

The highest Ive ever heard of a quad or bike being bored was .100 over. Anyone heard of more? I dont understand how your header would get bead all to crap...? Because on a 4 stroke it is up above the valves and piston and on a 2 stroke you have a flange that it fits OVER so there is no way anything could get to it to beat the crap out of it other than rocks and such? Please correct my if Im wrong but Im 99% sure Im right on the header thing? Later...

I think boring over a 505 is nuts!!! Most people think im nuts for going to a 505! I do know that the owner of SanDragons son went over a 505 to like a 560(not sure) but he soon went back down to a 450 on methynol with a drag frame!!

To do it you would take the 465 sleeve, bore it a little bit, get a 7mm or 8mm stroker crank and drop it in, or have a custom, even bigger sleeve made and drop a 7mm stroker in it.

yes, the LoneStar 440ex and the LT80 are mind,those are my 2 daugthers,Christine finish #3 in the GNC TT womens class,and Cara also finish#3 in the Mid Atlantic Atv Series 7-11 class,Cara won the class the year before,but last year things did not go her way.

I dont have any action pics yet but I will after the 29th. Right now I am working on having a professional photographer take pics of it to send to ATV Action to publish in their magazine. The editor at ATV Action has been emailing me back and forth all day and the pics I sent him werent good enough for the mag. They were clear enough but he said he doesnt have the equipment to scan the Advanced Photo System film that i used onto their computer so he wants me to find a professional photographer to take pics of it!!

just finished it and im taking it apart partly to fix some stuff, lmao
PS: whoever says holeshots wear fast is partly incorrect, in my pic you can see the nipples, had them for a good 8 months, but i only ride in sand or dirt, no road

Very nice R.
My friend has holeshots on his 250ex, and we ride about everyday and we take about 5 miles of road each day all together, and they have been warn down a lil, but not much.
