I think its best to have a professional shock builder do it.

Check out racetech.com. It's mostly geared toward bikes, but I think there is some quad stuff there.

by the time you spend the money for tools and oil and seals that if its done right youll tell yourself I should have paid someone.

its pretty easy to rebuild shocks, and or revalve them. I did mine by myself you don't really need any special tools except for a nitrogen tank and a gauge to put the right amount in but a bike shop can do that part. I called tcs told them what I wanted it valved for and they sent my shims to rebuild them, it takes about an hour to take them apart and an hour to put them back together. But you have to have some mechanical skill and logic.

i read an article on dirtbike rear shock and it said to put 250psi of dry nitrogen is this the same with all shocks?
is there instructions or can the tech support tell you what to shim?

I've often wondered about that.....It can't be that hard....I guess it's the knowledge part....Knowing how to valve them and all...Would be a good business to get into...

there is not any instructions but they go on the same as they come off, one set of shims has a washer connected to it , which goes on first and the other set has a nut which goes on last,
