how much are 04 450r's worth these days?

if anyones sold one recently im just curious around how much you got out of it?, i madre the mistake of calling 1 dealer asking how much theyd sell it for and they wouldnt really tell me anything all they said was to refer to that stupid little nada book so anyways its in the sig except all thats gonna be left is the hmf, jets, clutch perch, and skid plate and is extremely let me repeat that extremely, in that literal kind of way, in top running condition. so just tell me watcha think.

hmm my local deal that i am looking at to buy one is selling used 2004 and 2005 for 3500-4200 The one i was looking at was 4200 ac nerfs with hell gaurds,hmf pipe full, dg front bumber, race decals, kill switch, skid plate but it needed to be re jeted and i dont like the idea of buying a quad and having to re jet it if you have to jet it does it mean its been riden hard or what? also would it be diffulct to jet a 450

It probably just means that when they put the pipe on, they didn't rejet it, which doesn't make much sense. Jetting isn't too hard. You can either read up on it, and do it yourself, or just have them do it.

As for the price, I would say between 3500-4000.

my buddy just sold his '04 for 4100.

I got my bone stock 05 low hours that was 9 months old for $3600.

Both of my buddies just picked up 04 450R's

smithn1683 just got his with the motor disassebled for $2200 and it also came with a ton of extras.

rc51450rider just got his with a cracked case and bent shift shaft for $1500

Both are getting total rebuilds.

ive been shoppin around for a 450 and all the 04's ive seen have been between 3700 and 4200.
