thumb throttle

i have herd of guys on here talking about a trx 90 thumb throttle for 450r to help with thumb fatigue and i was just wondering if it is the whole thumb throttle or just part. any help would be appreciated. thanks

It's just the thumb piece itself. If you take the cover off the housing, you will see how it bolts up.

I am interested in this myself too. So, all you need is the lever off the TRX90? Ill pry buy that spring picutred too.

I have a 300EX Throttle housing and lever with the Tokyo Mods spring and it is a sweet setup....much softer than the stock 06 throttle...the TRX 90 lever itself is longer than all the rest and some say its even better with it......I couldn't stand the stock throttle...and not to mention the housing is half the size of the stock 06-07 450R

I have the Tokyo Mods throttle spring and 400ex throttle housing with the 90 lever. It is awesome. My thumb has yet to hurt after any GNCC's this year. In order to use the 90 lever you have to use an older style Honda throttle housing. You can't just put the 90 lever in the stock 06-08 housing.

is the throttle stiffer on the 06-07 then it is on the 04-05? cuz mine on my 05 is really soft

yea the 05 R's have really soft throttles. I guess its the carb. I have never gotten thumb fatigue on my R but i have 100 times on my 300ex.

Can you just use the entire trx90 throttle housing and lever directly off the bike or will it not work?

well I ordered the tokyo mods sping for my 07. ill let you guys know how it is once its here and istalled.
