I would like for just ONCE to be able to go riding w/o something breaking ....
today was a fun day for riding, but Ill be darned ifnot afterthe 1st couple laps, something broke...
Kelsey lost her stem clamp:eek: 6 laps into the day,her Dads mouth about hit the dirt when he noticed, but she didnt....:huh :o

Then into the 2nd lap ,my sons pipe completely fell apart and also had a crack in it.

But the full day wasnt a complete wash.... My Husband seems to spend more time inthe garage than he does riding anymore, it was REEEEALLLY nice to see him out having some fun today.
Kelsey still had my goodle EX to keep her company, but she is now so used to hers that she didnt feel as nimble on mine anymore....
Poor Brandon had to sit the sideline today.. :( ME as well, as I literally starting getting the flu right when we was about to ride...
lol
then.... my Camera started malfuntioning...

All simple fixes, still a good day for the most part..
heres a few shots from our local MX track. The track was really cool reversed!Alot of dust ...

PapaQJ airing it out

All settings were completely froze into one setting and will not corrector adjust itself.TV,AV all settings went totally whack today.
Alot of my shots today were not Auto. Some, I had no choice.
Im OK with that shot even if the background is too light.
I have had this problem one other time with this camera.
Its time to send it in.

lol:p

You just about have to mod the 85 motorwhen putting it in a hybrid as it lacks ALOT of mid range. We just got a new back up motor and i think that one will become a 101 when the money and time is there to build it .
Ive said it beforeand Ill say it again.... Ill be sooooo glad once they are cold enough to ride a full sized quad..
minis are a PITA!:scary:

For the most part, yes. This way she can race with the kids her own age and if we keep racing the WORCS ..
We could always move her to a 250 class or the Blaster class, but theres no real reason to right now.Shes having fun for the most part where she is and I want her to have fun most of all, plus, I feel she is learning more this way on her riding skills. Theres always room to addm power or a bigger motor in the Blaster chassis if we wanted to down the road too! :)
She is able to ride the 440 and the 450,but she still has a little trouble muscling it still. Shes a smaller rider in weight ,so when we do upgrade her,she will def. need the appropriate suspention. She nose dives mine alot.
Mine is WAY off for her and she just about took a digger on mine yesterday:scary:
The Blaster fits her very well right now.

My 10 yr old Brandon will get the Hybrid when shes done with it .

WOW.. What program was that?
Thats cool. :)
Her face looks more red though.
I like the sharpness too, with my program it would look way over sharpened.

I got out my camera and was readning my manual for troubleshooting ect... I didnt find any info out , but now it works fine...
You ever heard of a camera doing what mine did?
I guess Ill need to do some research or call Canon.

Ill make sure and show Kelsey the pic too . ;)
She will like it for the simple fact that it hides some of her freckles :p
While your at it,can you sharpen up her other pic on the rock for me too please....??!:D
I keep getting told I need to upgrade my camera to get more out of the good lense.. I may have to the end of this year if I keep having problems A back up wouldnt be a bad idea too..:ermm:

ill try and orrect the color, i was pretty wore out when i did that last night...lol

its a combination of the original and 2 others to balance the light. no other corrections were made...no sharpening etc

and yes, get the better camera, the lens will shine, but learning to use either will help you 1000000 times more. as far as the camera, its a computer, without a reboot button...lol they do weird things. and when i said auto mode earlier, i shoot full manual and even manually control my flash units.....you wouldnt believe what you can do better then your micro chip;)

i re ran the above image back through the program after again blending it with 2 altered exposure copies.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1166/771215857_b52f5271d4_b.jpg

then added 1/2 stop of light back to bring up the overall image. by the histogram, its about as close as it will get without using photoshop. i know our monitors may be different etc.

Just take a day and learn how to use photoshop, it's not as hard as you think if you just want to play around with the colors in pictures.

PS blahhh

Photography has more to do with light and its balance then sitting for hours playing with PS. i changed her pic in less then 2 minutes. if you need PS to make your shots look good then maybe more time is needed studying photography. PS can contribute, but color should be there without adding it.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1080/758205826_1d3e9ae759_b.jpg

btw, the rider has blue eyes;)

btw tina, this is what the program is designed to do(see below pic) its a technique that you use while shooting that allows the final work to be hdr...wild stuff and this photographer is a talented mofo..lol

You're manipulating your pictures with this program, how is that any different then adjusting the levels in Photoshop?

No, all that was done was the creation of 2 digital negatives based on her original and merged. post processing is not my point however, what i am refering to is adding color, sharpening, removal of objects(insertion of objects) IMO dont equal photography to a point. I do see what your saying but IMO anything added past simple post processing is digital manipulation etc, not that there is anything wrong with it as long as its acknowldged by the photographer. Wedding photographers and FILM developers have been doing what the average person can do on their computer for years, why that is acceptable to purists and full on PS isnt is beyond me...lol

Ive stated before that photography is YOUR vision and as long as your happy with it what others think is really no concern. i do feel that there are details behind images that mislead people into thinking others have camera skills when in reality the magic happens in PS and some have even lost their careers over this issue!

I guess we will just have to go riding again this week end and
re take pics again until you get it perfect!:D Dad likes his pics for sure! I was glad to see Dad out having fun too. He doesnt do it enough anymore, and neither do YOU ! You need to ride more again so you and I can LINE IT UP ! That would be fun!
I did noticed that stem piece coming off right when Dad did. It felt like I had no control of the steering!:eek2: That was freaky and could have been bad! IT was right after the grandstand.
