i bought a sparks x-6 exhaust and it was used and i am wondering if i need a clamp where the header connects to the silencers pipe and a high temp gasket maker, and any tips to make installation easier. (it should be real easy anyway)

also will i need a new needle of can i make the stock one work on like the fifth clip or fourth.

thanks

go to sparks site and look at the tech tips it covers jetting for the needle, air screw and main jet

You should be able to use the stock needle, but tuning will be necessary. Most exhaust systems come with the head clamp (all that I know of) you might want to change out the copper crush gasket in the head to get a good seal.... high temp silicone wouldn't hold up on that motor even if you tried it. Its way too hot for that, and the pressure created will surely blow it out...

thanks for the input guys, i think theres a how to in the articles section on this site, its a sparks exhaust as well , i dont think he uses a clamp from the header to silencer.

i have just about everything ready to do it except for needle and my quad (piece of Sh*t is in the shop)
