Ok i know this has been asked before but i wanna get some good information instead of a rumble of this part is better then this part.

I plan on doing my Engine this Winter and i am also gonan sell my pipe and get a different one. Both Choices Below are Options. It will be one or the other. GIve me some input about both choices/parts in each choice that are good/bad. And tell me how you like yours and why it si better then the other.

Choice one:

Tc Pipe
Tc Mx Grind Cam
Stronger Springs
FCR39 Carburator
Heavy Duty Cam Chain
Je 10.8:1 Pistion
(Maybe A 416, TBD)

Choice two:

Curtis Sparks X-6
Curtis Sparks Agressive Cam
Stronger Springs
FCR39 Carburator
Heavy Duty Cam Chain
Je 10.8:1 Pistion
(Maybe a 416, TBD)

I have one other Engine Component that i will be adding but I can't ever release that information. But i will garuntee my quad is gonna be faster then any other normal 400Ex with normal engine mods and no bore.

Give me all the input you can. Anything is is appreaciated. Facts, Stories, Rumors, Anything will help. Prove or Disprove as you like.

both are nice, both will do u good, but i have to say tc, they are better in my opinion, i have a freind with tc pipe, and cam, adn it is aawesome, great stuff, i have heard better things about tc that spark anyway:D

I have never delt with sparks, but I have with Tc , tom is top notch , but be prepared for a long wait. The line is long.

I run the TC GNCC grind cam, and his exhaust. Mine is punched out to a 425(the most u can go with the stock cylinder. The thing RIPS!!! I didnt wait long at all for the cam and exhaust.....a week tops. I did all the rest of it myself....its not hard. Ive NEVER had any problems at all. The other guy that races out of my shop Frank Grimplin....Open A champ in the GNCCs also runs TC components, and again, he has never had a problem except a faulty gasket tha tleaked, but was fixed without a problem. I am putting the 39mm carb on prob. next week and wil let u know how it runs. Ide go with TC all the way. Ive never had any problems, nobody that i personally know of has had problems. sounds like a winner to me. If u wanna ask me questions about it, feel free ill answer anything i can to help u out!

FYI: TC wasn`t at the Four Stroke Wars!

I have a TC Pipe and will never own anything different. I really like my Pipe and Tom was top notch when it came to getting it ordered. My brother has his 250r Motor setup and that thing hauls. We have not had a single problem with it. Now yeah we waited about 4 months, but that wait is only when he has to Port something, or you send Motor Parts to him. With your Motor you could do it or have a local guy do it for you. I am gonna get the Package like ExtremeRacer has. I will have our local shop guy do it that built my brothers. I say TC.

well i can talk about my tc mx grind cam... no problems here... will never run another part in my quad then the tc cams... i notice u say heavier valve springs in ur post also... they are unneccsary... tc mx grind cams are a drop in cam made for stock rockers and springs...

Hmm if I post anything about Sparks it will start a war.......sacuz we have so many TC fans here, know why? Cuz its cheaper. IMO TC=great for the money you spend. Sparks=best but comes at a price.

Ill take choice 2 for $1500 or so...

its mostly personal preference. but id choose the sparks. mainly cuz wit motor mods more than a cam id get a full pipe. and i dunno about you but i would bump it up to a 11:1 comp.
