So I trucked my 400 to kentucky last weekend for some riding on my girlfriend's uncle's 40 acers. I drove my quad into the bed of truck Friday after work and took off. Saturday morning I get up to go ride and my quad is dead, no lights, no cranking when I hit the start button. I immediatly check the fuse, no problem. So I check the battery voltage, 12.8V, check and clean the ground, still nothing. So I figured it's the starter solenoid and using a screwdriver successfully jumped the solenoild and start the quad. I rode like that all weekend and bought an aftermarket solenoid when I got home. However, even after changing out the solenoid I still had nothing.
After about an hour of going through the electrical with a voltage tester, it ended up being the key switch. Anyone else ever had this happen to them?
