anyone had experience with this one? Ive heard of peeps who have it, but not really any feedback on its quality?
Im looking for an inexpensiveCam to strap on a few riders at Nationals ,so I dont want to spend a ton if it gets broke.

Quadjunkies i have bought one for fire department use on my fire helmet and havent had any issues with it...you cant judge by the water slide vid you cant hold it still enough...it is actually a great little camera although i have not had the chance to use it with the handlebar mount or on a persons helmet on a track yet. there are 3 quality mode high resolution(640x480),med(320x240), and low(160x120) and also in all three quality modes you can choose from 15 frames per second or 30 fps. i highly suggest getting at least the 1gb memory card though.

for some other action shots check out this link mainly fire side of things. http://www.firehelmetcam.net/index.cfm?Section=1&PageNum=1

the best part about this camera is there are no wires or seperate deciec you need to hook into its all self contained, i persaonlly recomend it from what ive seen and use so far. the only thing i didnt like about mine was the volume of the mic was a little weak but come on most of us put our stuff to music anyways :D

thanks for all the great info!
So do these things typically have an image stabilizer in them?

lol we know how rough a track can get ..
I want to strap this to a Pro and a youth rider.

here is a video with somebody riding....

the biggest thing is getting it in the right place "alignment" hehe in this vid id say it slightly to the right to far but thats just me. i dont believe there is a stabilizer in them so i guess you'll see just how much there head shakes around. i have a photoshoot coming up and we will also be doing some video using my helmet cam i want to try it both mounted on the helmet and on the bars. if you find the right place you can get the camera, charger, batts, and a 1gb card for 175 bucks.

FD's have tested them and purposly tried to trash it just to see what it can do, so ill confirm that it will take the heat ;) :D

I think this cam will work well enough for what I would be using it for. If I could swing it, I would buy something a little nicer but I like how this one is alot more portable

I read about another one in one of the new Atv mags for 350.00 that sounded liek it might be worth chekcing out too.
Anyone know which one Im talking about?
I dont know much about these, and little time to learn ,so something simple works for me!!
:D

thanks for the post on the feedback :)

this is the review over the one I bought. I like it very well. Comes with everything. I found one on ebay brand new for $300 shipped.
