yes it is for the front mount for the shocks and it is a home made one thats what the guy said when i bought it from him and he had it on his 300ex with 400ex work shock

how thick is that? looks kinda flimsy like the force on it has it bending over the bolts that hold it to the frame

Thats how it was when i bought it should be fine there is no cracks just the bending

yeah but how thick is it? basically every ounce of upward force on the suspension is right there on the uppr shock mount. how long did he have it on for it to bend like that, after a while, who knows, it will rip itself off right around the bolt. not much force on the mount in the way of bending it back but probably enough to weaken it at the bends over time. I got on thats like 5/16" plate aluminum and it doesnt bend over the bolt-head like that but out where the shocks mount it is slightly tweaked
