Alky on the 400ex???

Hey im wondering how running alky does on those of you who have 400ex's that have ran alky. My buddy we stayed with at the dunes had a 440 2-stroke polaris, which was quick. He put alky in it and that thing hauled *****. I want to know how alky does on 400ex's. Can you truely tell a difference as performance wise besides the smell of it burning. Thanx...

I have never seen a 400 on alky, but I have been around other quads on it & it makes a big difference.

It doesnt make as much difference on a 4 stroke as it does on a 2 stroke but you can definetly tell the difference!! Im fixing to put mine on alky, as soon as i get it running right

Yeah Chad I was thinking you should switch to alcohol too, since you're only making what, 65hp?

I dont know how many hp its making!!! RIght now its probably only about 35-40!!! And thats with a blown head gasket!!!! It pulls as hard as my 416 did right now with a blown head gasket!!! Thats the difference the 505 made!!!

Just buy a Z and u won't need alky. Unless you just want to drink it after the race!
