That's what I thought. But I did think about it, and Honda could make room for a whole other model. Maybe to directly compete with Yamaha's Raptor, and really open up the sales for the EX's since they would most liekely amp up the 250, 300, and 400 in some way. They'd have to put liquid cooling on this "Ghost" 800 model.

This will be interesting, maybe it'll it will be like the raptor. maybe it will be like a 700 or 800. fuel injection would be on it too. dont forget aluminum frame either. "if" this 800ex even comes out...

also if said atv was supposed to come out if the word spread theirs a possibility that they'd quit and decide not to make it because obviously its supposed to be either a secret or not thought of if anybody remembers when the kfx450r and ds450 came out they were talked about well before their debut

i think its possible in the near future for something like this from honda... it might be a way for them to experiment with newer technology like fuel injection and some other additional features

If this is all true, its obvious this info was purposely leaked. Probably to monitor stuff like this, to see just what kinds of things we would like to see with it, or would want in it, so they can build it to best suit consumers and the company, and create some hype. They would definitely just be in a planning phase (Honda) and just starting to possibly put this thing together. Drawing Board stuff. To spend the next couple years actually assembling and testing it. Again, if this is true and all.

Honda doesn't even have an 800 motor at all. They would be creating a whole new block and frame, and the whole deal.

It will never happen,sorry.One reason is Honda not concerned about the small market that yamaha has with its 700 raptor sales,there is still left over kawasaki 700 v forces to be had.They sell just about every quad they make.They are winning the battles on the showroom floor every year,those are the ones that count.;) Its not worth the time or legal issues for a 800cc sport quad

yeah the new honda doesnt look anything like the raptor
its just a bigger bike but get this the new Honda 700xx has independent rear suspension its pretty awesome id say probably very heavy like the raptors

I got an issue of QUAD magazine and they do have a 700EX coming out. Fuel injected and independent rear susspension

the 700xx and new 400ex are probably the ugliest things honda has produced ever. im very disappointed. the 700 looks like it has a jetski seat and the front is horrible. the 400 looks worse.

these are almost as ugly as the can-am 450

The new 700xx has a xr650 moter in it from their baja bikes so its the fastest and most pwerfull engine honda has. but the reason the plastic looks so funny in the front is because they tryed to incorperate a scoop to scoop the air to the radiater. But I think the 400ex looks nice.

idk about a 800? but they did make a 700xx with independent rear susp. and fuel injection. I saw somone asked about the 08 400ex all they did was change the plastics in my opinion there gross.
