Just relocate the keyswitch to the right side of the tank area (there is an area behind the plastic where there is room for the switch) and move the reverse neutral lights to the side as well and ditch the bar cover.

alright so basically hes got to move the ignition, neutral and reverse lights somewhere else into the plastic or something. Does anyone have any pictures of there modified ignitions and lights?

You could make one of these... I made it out of a sheet of aluminum I picked up at the hardware store.

Thanks it does the job anyhow. Just a couple of tips... A file works great to make a notch for the tab on the backside of the ignition to keep it from turning in the hole. Also I ended up trimming the bottom edge of the ignition holder for a cleaner look and more clearance between it and the tank. Also a rubber grommet around where the fuel breather hose goes through helps to keep it in place while you ride and it keeps the aluminum from wearing trough the tube.

wait so ill buy like a peice of aluminum and make like 4 holes in it and a rubber gromet for the gas tank breather hose, but what about the ignition, neutral and reverse lights again?

Here is my relocated ignition!

And I used 2 12volt leds from radio shack and moved neutral and reverse here!

I thought the leds may not work there but said to hell with it and tried it and have not killed one in several all day rides.

i liek that alot too just your plastic is kinda beat up if it was all sparkly/non scratched it would look even better but its still a good idea, part of the reason 300exOH's looks so good is how dam clean it is but yours is still very good as well

in case you are not getting what he is posting, the 250x cover is a smaller cover that covers just the clamp, it is not big and gaudy like the stock 300ex cover was...i no longer have the 300ex or i would take a much better pic for you...
