Don't cut it, did you get the nut off? I used a punch and a hammer and took my time and it came out no problem, nothing is wrong with it at all.

might wanna make sure the swing arm is unloaded some. it'll make it easier to come out.

also if you strip the threads on the nut and need a quick fix you can drill a hole in the swingarm bolt and put a cotter pin in the hole and the bolt wont slide out :D

i had this problem. i did the sledge even tiped it on its side and sprayed penetrating oil down in it for a week and still wouldnt move i ended up haveing to cut my swingarm off then get teh accetlyen torch out and cut the bold in 4 places and heat it all up cherry red to get it to pound otu with a sledge and punch. not fun at all. i recomend going to the local auto parts store and asking them for anti seize grease. i got some napa anti seize grease for like 9 bux. when you put your new bolt in coat everything but the threads in anti seize grease. then slide it through. reason i say not on the threads is because it will let the self locking nut come off with the vibration.

You need to use a penetrating oil not wd-40
