I have an idea guys. I dont know whether you all will like it or not, but i just thought i would run it by ya. How bout we start an EXRiders Racing Team? Heres the way i see it. Get some stickers made for it or something, and put it on our sponsor list at our races. The team would be nation wide, and Canada too i guess. I think it would be a great idea, we would all belong to a team, and when a group of us races the same race, we could pit together. This would also cover MX and XC, i know we have racers on both of those. TT would be represented too. Guys, just tell me your thoughts, but i think its a pretty good idea. What do you guys think?:confused:

Well remember, this should be for serious racers. Im not trying to dawg other riders but a race team should be racing like every weekend at either their district or like the nationals. By the way, Im in:D

Sounds like a good idea but how do you justify who is a racer and who is a bench racer???

I guess we could have everyone send in resumes,,I would think you need a few years of racing under your belt,,heck ya'll figure it out I got enough crap to do with the page as it is...:D

The way i see it, to cause less problems, we should use the least amount of restrictions as possible. Resumes would be good to have sent in. I dont know just exactly what we should do. I just thought this would be a good idea. I really think we should go through with it. If we did resumes, who would we send them too, and what would be required. We need to come up with some guidelines here.

I dont think we should discriminate. I like 400exracers guidelines. Jabber and 400ex127, lesbians will be allowed, or else i wouldn't be in it either. Everyone that wants to be on this thing, lets post it on here. Then we can see how many want to be in it, and decide how we want to handle it. Lets say, 1 yr racing experience, and over 16. So whos in? I am! :D

As many as possible. With this website, and the number of people, this thing could be nationwide. At the national races and stuff alot of us can come to the ones close to us, and get together. Imagine, 30 racers at the Loretta Lynns MX National Next year from Team EXRiders. That would be awesome. Loretta is just an example i was using. But it would be great to have a big nationwide team. I know id be proud to be a member. Oh, another guidelilne. You must run exriders stickers in a visible location. LOL. :D

it sounds kinda cool let me throw out a couple of ideas
1. all racers have ama or atva cards this qualifies
2. need an organizer and here on this site proble the one who can drink the most at one sitting.
3.need a couple of reps xc mx in a few areas to make sure no one is makeing a bad name for us.
4.if everyone on this site sent me five dollars no strings attached i would have a good chunk of change.(joke)
5have people get on there print shops and throw out a couple of decal ideas lets see them lets vote
6.and in that same print style we put our screen names under the logo. put it on bike and trailor so when i see you going down the high way i can wave hi

well...i think you should start another post...outlining the guidlines for those to be accepted. then....after a set deadline...say 1 week....you can get a few peeps from that thread to figure out who really is a racer. i dont think some will like not being included....but i belive it should be those that actually race. then once you pick say....10 riders...or more....post a thread and let the site pick them,

This sounds like an awesome idea.
I know it would probably not be very profitable for us to have an exriders graphics kit made but if we could have like our own team logo and sticker that would be good.
We could have designated areas like chapters the same way car clubs do. For instance Im in Illinois so I would be in the midwest chapter. Then within those areas stay in contact with the other people to post on all racing events that will be happening in that area, then we will have maximum turnouts at races.

I wrote ben a PM not too long ago about this. I'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks this is a good idea.

the only conflict i see is...is at the races, most of the people there are EXriders. if we pit together, we'de just be racing our own team. lol. i really like the idea tohugh

i think anyone that SERIOUSLY wants to pay for the graphics and represent EXRIDERS at all should be able to be on the race team, i race every once in awhile, but im no pro by any means, and why would you need 1 year experiance? that seems un fair.... i think we should be able to rep exriders on the trails also...

i think a race team would be a good idea, maybe it would make my parents take me to more races. Right now I am starting out in a series, its an off season xc series. But this summa i will do missouri harescrambles. I put every cent i make into my quad and practice as much as i can, since i havce trails by my house. And i get the real good practice runnin from hicks and tree huggers. Im going to make some ideas in paint for the graphics.:D

what about people like me and chadexer (i think he drags) cause i drag race down here...i have a blaster with 240 kit and a 300ex i would love to be on the team and i coudl rep. mississippi cause i know no one else in on here from mississippi that drag races except stevengates45...so if its cool....count me in

well if you accept me i`d love to be on the team. why not have team try-outs for each region or district that would have riders in it. i am sure not all of us could make the nationals but, if it were to be a team effort , let the team pick the best riders to rep. them!with exriders approval on top of that of course that is if the site/moderators can get the idea accepted. like me for instance , i don`t forsee me making the nationals next season , it will be my first season of organized racing , i will hit the local tracks , i have scouted the ones i like the best already , and plan to give xc a shot to see if i like it!!but mx will be my focus. there are 3 tracks that are privately owned that i have been racing the local guys for their practice sessions. but i have been riding for 24 years !! i am currently building a xc practice track , and i seriously ride at least 3-4 hrs. every other day. i normally ride w/ quads and dirtbikes alike , to keep me focused on the idea that there is always somebody who will ride faster than me if i let up or slow down. let me know where to send my resume / application , and how progress w/ the team idea is going!!

But the team should be composed of racers that have skills and are a good rep to the site.
The whole 16 or older thing doesnt sound good. What about the mini class racers?
Anyway, I hope I could be a part of the team someday if it is a go

Everyone forgets about drag racing!!! Drag racing is a very big deal around here!!! However I will be racing TT twice a year!!:)

yeah im 16 now getting the licence in april...but any ways ive been riding for about 2 years but this last year ive been getting into it alot jumping and every thing. i live in wisconsin well my and my buddy... we went to vally mx track and it was fun as hell. this might sound dumb but can i still join if it goes down i ride a 660 rappy with some ups... adn my buddys got a yfz

p.s. ill be willing to pay too for some stickers or what not... ill support it over my quad.

hey i would be glad to ride in this team....im from wisconsin adn do mx....not sure if any of have heard of art's snombile and atv salvage...but i work there adn get sponsored (i couldnt go back on them)by them adn we have out own woody's graphics on the front fenders....would the exriders.comgraphic be on the front fenders on wut?? cuz i couldnt put the exriders.com graphics of that..sorry but u see wut am sayin....and liek havin a z or yfz..dont ya think i would look kinda cheesy to have exrider.com on ur wheeler next to the sticker that says yamaha or suzuki...i dunno i thikn it would look finda funny...just some of my input

Good Idea.....Ill be at almost every national ( gnc mx ) So I can represent there...I also race locals in between nationals...So im all in...I know it dont sound right but just ANYONE shouldnt be let on the team...Have it like this maybe...

GNC Team ( nationals )....10 riders...must have ama/atva license to be part of this team...and must be racing over 4 of the gnc nationals, same goes for gncc

GNCC Team, 10 riders....must have ama/atva liscense to be part of this team.

TT Team 10 riders...( dont know much about tt )

Drag 10 riders

Local team...unlimited amount of riders, racing photos of you is all that is needed...

Thats how I would do it...That way u dont have a whole lot of riders at 1 event....

I think the site should put together a team for the 12 Hours Of La Tuque race in Quebec this spring . It's a great race which attracts a ton of people . Very simular to the Pont Du Vaux race in France . They are expecting over 120 teams for the race this year .

I raced it...well most of it..Thrill Hill,Dry Hill, Mx886 & burnthill !!
