hey...i have a 06' 450r with rossier exhaust,pro design k and n filter kit, and a hot cams stage 2...and my pipe is turning a little blue...im running a 168main,48pilot( i believe),hrc needle 4th clip....do you think i should bump up to a 170 or 172...the blue is just by the front part of the header!!!

i would go to a 172.

Is the header chrome? if it is they will always turn blue thats from heat not jetting.

no the header isnt chrome...its just whatever the standard metal they use for rossier head pipes!!!!!

oh and the air box lid is off!!!!

All the Rossier's I have seen turn blue!

I was thinking I should bump mine due to the pipe also but it runs hard where its at (full hrc,k&n,rossier,165 main)

you'll always run great when you are running lean. Unless you are really lean. My ROssier isnt blue, but its a sweet Gold all throughout the piping. Rossier recommends a 185 for the first generation R;s, i know nothing about the second gen.

ya...mine looks just looked just like that until i bumped it up to a 168 and then the blue was just little!!!

I bought a jet kit and tried to go to a 170 but broke it off then had to pull the needle to remove it, so now I have a jet kit missing prob. the jet I need.

I may put in the 175 even though I think its too much
(joe @ rossier told me to run the hrc jetting {162})
I stopped at the local dealership and they didnt have one either
