Hi
you guys who are running houser or laeger +2 regular a-arms, can you post a front picture of you quad ?

im looking for some better a-arms, but i do not have very much money now, thats why i want regular a-arms + im going to run them with stock suspension because better shocks is way to expensive.

how do you like your a-arms ?

should i go with houser or laeger ?

I have standard Houser +2's with C&D racing rebuilds. Huge difference over stock and definately worth the money.

The Housers come with everything you need from tie rods to brake lines for around $600 I belive but it might be cheaper now.

but I have had 2 different brand standard travel arms on my R. Burgard's +2+1 nickel plated. They worked well if you dont jump alot. I do jump alot so I wear out the balljoints on the older cheaper ones. I know have a set of lonestar's I bought used for a good deal then had pappy at bkperformance color them for me. Here's a pic or 2. the nickel plated ones are burgards and the red and silver ones are +2.5+1 lonestars.

hey, I have the laegers +2 std. travel that I am possibly willing to get rid of, but I would rather sell the combination of shocks + a-arms together. PM me if ur interested. heres a pic! Oh yeah, I ride mostly sand and do alot of jumping and have had no problems with the ball joints so far. I have had this setup for a full year now and the only problem has been a bent tie-rod.

with stock shocks on +2 a-arms, will i get problems ?

problems of any kind, like the stiffness in the shocks are not stiff enough when jumping with +2 a-arms and bottoming out ??

For the most part you should be fine with that setup. I ran mine without sending them to derisi to revalve and spring them.

I let friends that are much heavier than myself ride and none said it was rough or bottoming out.

totally depends on how much you weigh and how big of air your planning on conquering! I ran the stock shocks on the extended arms for about a month before I got my elkas. The longer arms made the stockers much softer, but they would bottom out on G-outs (big ruts at the bottom of dunes) or if I would really sail, but then again I'm 6'2" and weigh 200lbs and I also never stiffened the stockers after putting them on the longer arms.

sorry to bring up this tread up again but i see there is a set of janssen a-arms on ebay.

they are 2+2 regular a-arms with +2 forward. is this any good for mx riding ?
will the front tires be actually more in the front than it was on the stock a-arms

:huh

and did you get my pm mattonln ?
