07 starter recall

just got recall as a safety measure today, anyone else get one?

I got one too, its for 06 and 07.
(for the starter reduction gear)

mine says..........................
starter reduction gear settings on affected units may no be properly calibrated to prevent damage by kick back
(kick back can occur when a rider starts the engine with an open throttle)

sounds like they are pushing blame to the rider but they are going to repair/replace them. (poor design but I dont care about blame, just want it to work)

they already replaced mine in feb. (it was out of warranty but repaired free)
letter says must have repair completed before aug. 1, 2008
(im thinking I will wait till this latest gear goes out and get one more on the "update campaign")
