if its anything like the er 330 I had, it certainly does need help, very badly. I bought a lrd310pv later on and it kicked the esr330 in every way possible. The porting on the esr cylinder I had was horrible.

It's hit and miss... Keep it the way it is and if you get bored with it then have it ported again and put in a 4 mil crank at the same time. IMO!!
