Ok, for those of you that were interested. We got the first MTB balls made up today and I just got them installed in my bike. I'm running 2.2 Kenda tires.

The balls that I'm using first are a 45 mill which is almost the same thickness as our XC atv balls (they are 50 mill) so these weights will be at the high end of what production will end up being. They will probally be much thinner mill for production.

It took 28 balls at 12 grams each = 336 grams or 11.85 oz.
Now the Maxxis tube I weighted came in at 434 grams or 15.31 oz.
That is a weight savings of 98 grams or 3.45 oz over an inner tube.
