hey guys i have an 06 450er and have a full white bros alum pro and uni filter and thats it for engine mods. my jetting is at 170 main, 3rd or 4th clip on needle i cant remember, 55 leak jet, 46 pilot and about 2 1/2 turns out on air/fuel screw. on hot days if i go into a corner and get on my brakes really hard 95% of the time it will stall. also, last weekend in my race i would come out of this corner and nail the throttle for this 70 ft tabletop and it would just bog down. im in 2nd gear when i do this so i know that im not bogging cuz of the gear, and its not really like that anyways it just feels like the bike just wants to completely stop and quit. do you guys think a boyesen quickshot would fix my problems or is it simply my jetting? it seems to run really good other than the stalling and what not. let me know what you guys think.

What's stock pilot on these? 45? Put the stock pilot in it and drop the main jet a bit. Your symptoms sound rich.

yeah i think the stock pilot is 42. i think im gonna go change that right now and drop the main down and see if that helps it. im gonna put the 162 in it i hope that isnt to low. any other help would be greatly appreciated.

170 sounds big for a pipe/filter (stock is like 115)

hrc kit (cam/pipe/needle/no-lid/etc) is only 162

my guess is your rich (how does the plug look)

best to buy a range of jets so you can get it right
prob. end up 155-160 range
