hey ive got the stock exhaust on my bike (look at sig) and was lookin to upgrade. I dont have that much to spend but i saw a cobra full system on ebay and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it or how good it was?
Also is it possible to put the 300ex crank on my 250 to give it a longer stroke? I think it should work but im not really sure
Thanks

cobras are the worst pipes ever i had one on my 300 before and it sounded horrible and i think it actually is worst power gains than a stock exhaust just get the money and get a curtis sparks or something of that matter or maybe a fmf megamaxx there pretty cheap decnet exhaust

i had a cobra on my 300ex and i could tell a difference over stock. there not a high quality pipe but, if ur looking for a lil bit more at a cheap price it will do the trick.

Spend the extra money and at least get a higher end DG pipe. The cobra will do nothing but make noise. I had one on mine and I thought it did something until I switched to the sparks x4. The DG's will make decent power and they aren't much more than the cobra.(maybe another $50) You would get more power from an HMF slip on than you would with the cobra full pipe.

As for switching cranks, I'm sure it could be done but I'm not sure it's worth it. The 250x makes a tad more power than the 300 even in stock form.

Can't switch out the 250x crank w. a 300ex one. They don't quite work. You'd have to swap out the whole bottom end.

250x is faster anyway. ;)

Any pipe but cobra.

Crank is different due to electric start on the 300EX. The starter motor drives a gear directly on the crank, which is different from the kickstart gear on the 250X.

The 250X is has a shorter stroke, which allows it to rev a little faster. Plus, it has a more aggressive cam which gives a better power at high revs. This is why the 250X is just a tad faster than the 300EX.
