450R swinger shock options

Piecing together a rear end. Have a 450R swing arm coming. Trying to figure out what shock to use. Has anyone tried to use an '01 raptor rear shock w/ linkage. Will the Raptor linkage bolt/fit to 450R swing arm ? I would get stock 450R shock and linkage but don't think I can fit the shock with the res at the top.

trx250r shock is what I was told and what I have coming.

Yeah thats what I keep reading as the cheapest. Hopefully my 450r rearend will be here this week. Are you using stock 450r linkage also?

I actually thought that the 400 looked so close to it that I found 400 linkage cheap and am going to try that first.

Post up how it worked out for you. I am trying 450r linkage myself, trying to source out a good 250r shock at the moment so wont have any data till late next week.
