There is no free lunch. There is always goning to be a trade off to an extent.I wouldnt make too big of a change with your gearing unless your motor can handle it.

buy 20 inch razrs if u want to feel some accel and if u still want noticable accel while not losing much speed take a tooth off of your back sprocket... after stuff like that you can opt for a rev box for more top end speed and then serious stuff like high comp pistons, boreing, port and polish, runnin on alky come into play... hope i helped

yea i would put on 20'' inch rears

and i would probably go with a 14 tooth up front while keeping the stock rear, your bike should definatly be able to handle that gearing and you will feel a noticable gain on top end, and still have a good bit of bottom end,

then i would send your cdi box out for the "black box mod"

and then id think about a high comp. piston and a good cam

the black box mod was done by i believe four stroke tech back in the day and i think they still do it, its where they remove the rev-limit completly. then you have alot more across the band

or if you dont feel comfortable with that you can always get a good aftermarket cdi..

I run 14-36 gearing with 20 in tires and i have plenty of power with lots of speed.

where is the rev-limiter at, and what do you have to do to run without a rev-limiter on.

the rev-limiter is that black box on the left side of your quad under your plastics, your not totaly removing the cdi box your just eliminating the rev-limiter, like i said you'll have to contact a company who still does it, and send it out, then once you get it back its pretty much simple as pluging it back in with a much wider power range.

no its not a home project, it depends on cost i would do some searching threw the comapnys and what not,

i would just stay away from brands like white brothers (some people swear by them but i've heard more bad than good)

i would definatly talk to colby at c&d on this site he knows his stuff
