Exriders east coast ride at Georges nov 16th-17th!!!

Well, the dates and spot are decided.


Nov 15th-17th southern NJ east coast ride!!

we are going to be camping/riding In NJ!!! YAY!!

440ex4me and I will pm directions for Georges to people who want to come....(when the time comes)

A couple of us will be camping out on friday and will be expecting everyone one on saturday around 9-10 am and we will ride all through out the property. there are pits, trails and jumps...
more then 1000 acres.....

we will be all camped/parked in a specific area so we can all party at night...(and not be spread out through out the property)

I suggest everyone drop in cash in the drop box when you arrive...


Everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves. if anyone does litter they will get bashed on this site for it.:grr
so dont litter.... we need to be welcomed back!! :)

I think so far me and 440ex4me will be the hosts of this ride...

I hope we can get kenny to come to cook......(everyone pm him and push him to take a week of hunting and come ride!!)...

I also make some pretty spectacular buffalo wings....;)

this should be fun.....

there may be a excursion to go to sarco sometime sat night.......
I will be scoping out the trail this weekend..... Youll all get a first hand view of my night vision riding style if we do this.....

Be careful where you ride. The rangers will be waiting for us to step onto state land. But If we stay off the fire roads and big pits then it'll be hard to see us. Its great woods riding there and should be a lot of fun. Sarco from Georges?? Your really pushing it there. I doubt its even possible with all the BIG streams and highways you would have to cross.

This place is about 1-1/2 hours form the NYC area WITHOUT TRAFFIC. So prob under 3 total but I have not been to albany in a long time so I may be a little off on the time.

I'm about 2 hours north of Albany (exit 30 off I87)..

I've got to talk it over with the wife and see if she's got anything planned for that weekend...

If I decide to go we could do the caravan thing.. or if you've got a trailer we could just slap in on the truck and go up to you..

Ok first lets find someone to pick up mrusk :) Maybe give us a idea of where in north joisey and I am sure you get a ride.

Seriously the way I think they have everyone going in is pretty clear and earlier this year over memorial weekend I seen jethro with elimay pulling an old pos camper thru the smaller trails there so should go ok, and this was pretty funny since elimay had like triple d's and was riding a ratty ole 4stroke 2wheeler that liked to stall and like to be kicked even more, it was such a show one of the guys riding with us got lost after he couldnt stop looking and fell way behind.

Seriously if you stay on the dirt roads you should have no problems. there are only a few spots in the entire area that would require 4x4 unless you find a stream or mud hole. I think in like 15 years I had to use the 4x4 2 times except when I was doing something stupid.

Rich are you gonna make it to this one?

If you bring your bandana we may have to make a road trip :D

I'm just totaly screwed right now. lenny, when I down shifted from 2nd to first and my bike hit false neutral I held the throttle wide open and it just revved out and then it engaged into 1st. it went POP, and it broke a gear and cracked the case ...........it hapened so quick. :o

so right now im more pissed and miserable then anything.:o

I will be down the shore next weekend, so I guess it can be a one day ride for now......?? SUNDAY...

believe me im miserable that my case broke, I only had two rides on the brand new motor :grr last sunday, the harescramble and 2 hours on sunday.

Its more centrel of southern :) than southern jersey, but seriously its about 20 miles north of atlantic city near the coast. Its not too far but also depends on how you go, could take the ferry to the Garden state parkway or use the del mem bridge to NJ turnpike and pm if you are thinking on going for the local directions.

YES...most of the time you wil be fine ..& your right about the offset
I did this at the john penton..90% of the time I was fine ,..

I think there will be spots , some tight spots that you MAY have to slow down or be more careful ..a lil more w/+ 1's,.... (in some coarses this could work against you) so this stock width A- arms are my prefence... ror now ..

I need all the clearance I can get ,,..at this stage ...
& would hate to go all they to a race & see that they have layed it real tights in spots ...

I talked with Lenny (440ex4me) and since he does not have access to the computer today, he asked me to update everyone on the weather for this weekend.

Saturday's forecast, to date, is RAIN, RAIN, and more Rain. They forecast this into Sunday as well. I am not trying to scare anyone coming to this ride... Just trying to update everyone what the forecast is. BTW... Temperature is forecasted to be 40 degrees.

actually im glad to here the news i have a problem with my rear shock and cant go this weekend weather looks to suck anyway catch the next one i geuss maybe make it in january sometime like around the end of january or have another one in the begining of febuary... by then the new exriders stickers will be out, my front end will be done, my truck will be done, and my rear shock better be done!!!!!!! oh well bad news for everyone i geuss

I ordered the left case, water pump bearing(needed one) centergasket, 2 base gaskets, clutch cover gasket, and a head gasket.

I'm a little worried about the bore.

it turns out that after sucking in water at the harescramble that i wore my rings really fast.- thats not the part that worries me, the part that worries me is if the bore is out of spec.( i just bored it) im 7 over now(67.75mm)

i dont feel like boring it again......

so i guess im gonna hone it and mic the bore and hope its still in spec. and re ring it....

I should be up fror next weekend if the weather is ok.

Now isnt that just great to get washed out when this damn motor is finally finished. Well at least there is one less thing to worry about but now just to break it in.

I will most likely get bored tomorrow and end up at NJORVP if it isnt raining too hard but there I can take the box truck so I will have a place to hang where its dry. Should at least be able to get some break in time there.

wet lol but if it is hot outside the day after the week of raining it is pretty bood, the sand packs like clay but there are a lot of puddles to splash in and get all muddy
