400 axle on a 450????

Just wondering ig this is possible, I did a search but didn't find an answer.

I have a brand new G force on my 400, with about 1 hour of ride time on it. Due to some bent parts on the 400 (FRAME and A-ARMS) I was hoping to transfer the axle on to my 450. If this is possible, I just might part out the 400 and not fix it.

hey man, it can work but you have to swicth so parts around. i cant remember off my head what i did to get the 450 axle to work on my old mans 400. it has been a little while since i did it. i can look at it tonight to tell you exactly what you would have to do. i put the complete 450 swingarm on his 400 but its not just bolt on like everybody says, theres alittle more to it. the offsets on the sprocket hubs on the axles are a little differant. i will look tonight to tell what you would have to do, even if you dont want to do it. if you didnt know the stock axle on the 04-05 450 is aready 1 inch wider then the 400 stock axle.
