white brothers cdi box??

my friend has a real supped up banshee and one of his last quads was a 400ex and he has a white brothers cdi box and he only used it for a while he said he would seel it for 30$.
is that a good price concidering its used and what exacly does it do

i know it improver spart and rpm but what dous that do
faster ? power? more rev? i dont fully understand

if anyone can help please do, i would greatly apreciate it

The 400ex rev limiter tops out at about 9200 rpm. The White Brothers cdi box lets the motor turn up to about 10,500 rpm. That's all it does.

I had one, but it did nothing for me. Save your money. Lots of people here will tell you the same thing. Some others will tell you that it maden a huge difference.

Spend that money on something that actually does something...

It does help if you are goin to do any engine work. For $30 bucks, pick it up and try it, You can always put it on Ebay and sell it for far more.

I run Sparks CDI box with the 416 kit and it helps so I don't hit the rev limiter.
