alright, i have been trying to sell my 1988 yamaha yz 80 for about a year now and my friend who has been wanting to buy it got enough cash to buy it bought it f or $350 dollars last night. now i have 2,000 and a blaster to put towards a 450r. The only problem is do you think i should of asked more for it?

KBB says $765 for the bike. Since yours is in **** condition, you got a good even deal I'd say.

I dont get why everyone bashes this kid so much, sure at first he fibbed about having a 450R... so what, hes admitted it and moved on and seems to be acting much more mature about it, which is more than I can say for quite a few people on here:rolleyes:

I am kind of glad he bought it because it was taking up space in our garage and it has a oil problem and oil got everywhere. He told me he needed it by tommorow so he came and bought it and told me i didnt ahve to clean it up or anything. also there was no gas in it because i ran dry and he still bought it without ridign it. My mom, told him that if it dont run when he mixes the gas and oil thats his fault and not ours because we warned him.

now i am $350 dollars richer not much since we only bought it for $400 back in 2001 only lost $50. But now i am even more closer to getting a 450r which i am really stoked about..now all i need to do is sell my blaster

not my "Best" friend....but last year we were at a friends house and i brought my bike for someone to ride and we were racing athis track and the kid who just bought it wrecked when he was putting around the bike slid out from underneath him and the kick stand embeded into his leg and he had a huge cut on it and had to get about 200 stiches...so this bike is priceless to him...

My Question: If this is your "friend" why did you not just give the bike to him? You tried selling it for a year and probaly did'nt even get any offers. And why ask if you think you got enough for it, did you not realize after a year of tring to sell it that no one wants it?

And to everyone else that's doubting this kid, You should just feel sorry for him that he's just trying to fit in with NOTHING to ride. We would all just laugh if we seen this on the riding grounds. LMAO now!!!

He got riped on that. So, he pretty much thinks he ripped me off lol..funny how things work these days. I am glad i got rid of that bike tho because back in the day when i first got it i went over to my buddys track and wrecked and broke my collar bone...no damange done to the bike tho...If any one knows any one who wants a blaster or has a cheap 450r for sale pm me

Dude seriously type everything you think of posting on here in microsoft word first, do grammar and spelling checks then post it here, you will get a lot farther on here as far as respect goes. Every time we read a post like this I feel like my 3 year old nephew is writing a letter to me. Or you can download mozilla firefox and use that instead of internet explorer.
