Anyone see the raptor 250. If so what do you raptor fans think of it. Yamaha said it replaced the Blaster.

I think its going to be a nice little quad. As of right now it looks to be a far superior quad than any of the other 250's out right now, at least by looking at the specs. I think suzuki maybe coming out with a new 250 also, so will have to wait and see on that one.

Suzuki is coming out with a new 250. It looks exactly like the LTR 450. I read about it in my (QUAD) magazine.

Dirt Wheels mag has an article about the new Raptor 250... Looks like a very nice addition to compete with the other 250s... Looking forward to a side by side comparison soon.

just a snippet for you,
I took my son (12yrs) for a demo ride on the Raptor 250 on Thurs 5th July. After seeing the pictures in magazines and being told it will be more of a leisure Quad I went with him without much enthusiasm, What a big mistake !! WE LIKED WHAT WE SAW !
What a fantastic set up Yamaha have pulled off with this one !
5 Speed, Electric Start and 4 stroke & size wise in between an APEX 100 and a Blaster. Perfect for Youth Racers, from what I saw loads of bottom end grunt and no need to rev it hard, just keep changing up and rock !! Obviously we didn't have a Blaster with us to compare it to but I don't think you will see a lot of difference in it, we'll see, but I think for Quad Enduros that we do over here this will take alot of beating in standard form !
My lad didn't stop talking about it, (he absolutely loved his demo ride) as in when are we getting one ?? These are due out over here in just over a week and from what I hear there is alot of response to it. Colour choice ain't the best with the SE KTM Orange & Black or the Polaris Grey, but the standard Yamaha Blue looks tidy as does the SE Black version but I don't know if that is available over here yet.
These Quads are definitely worth keeping an eye open for over the next 6 months to see how they perform and what problems occur.
hope this is of some help to you, just our thoughts
