White Brothers Pipe Question Please

i have a white brothers e series pipe on my 300ex. i have a uni filter with a hp air box and the jetted carb but i took the plates out of the wb pipe and now its just a straight pipe with the tip on it. will this hurt the quad in anyway? what are the plates for and is it ok that i took them out? I dont want to mess anything up thanks alot

back presure by changing the number of plates it will give you more bottom end or top end. and no it won't hurt any thing

you think its better to have them in or leave them out?

the number of discs in determine how the powerband is to run. top or bottom , etc.

ok well i want to race around, im looking for more acceleration then top speed, so should i put them back or leave them out?

i'm not sure on this but i'd say the more disks you put in the more aceleration. but i'm not sure. i know it gets louder when you put more in because there's more air flow. my dad had one.
