Hey, just installed a HMF sport slip on and a 165 main jet and a 48 pilot on my 07 ER. IT starts and runs good until high RPMs where it feels like it "skips" or stumbles. Any suggestions? Is this common?

Maybe your hitting the rev limiter.

165 might be too rich with the airbox lid on. A way too rich main jet can behave almost like a rev limiter that comes on too early. Pop the airbox lid off and see if the stumble dissapears. If it does then you'll know to keep stepping down on the main if you want to run the lid.

What size jet did you end up using?

Make sure you double check your plug after re-jetting
