400 EX Wont Star Help

OK My 400EX Wont Start... But you Can Push Start it fine... If you push the starter button it does nothing.. Help Please

does it crank over when you hit the button, or does it do nothing? If nothing happens when you hit the button, then its the battery or something else electrical. Try jump starting it, if that doesnt work, than something failed ie-starter, starter button, fuse, or possibly a wire got disconnected.

I would first check the fuse.

I just got the bike today...
nothing happens when you hit start button... the battery is fine... also do all 400s leak oil??? Cuz this one does and both of my buddies do...

leak oil! from where?

first i would check the fuse and then the ground and go from there

id say take it back where you got it and make them fix it..prolly a fuse tho

it shouldnt leak oil either....

my 400 did the same thing and i kept blowing my fuses, but only if i hit the headlight switch. i was inches away from buying a new wiring harness before me gramps jumped in and traced it down to the positive cable leading into the start was coroaded(???) definantly check the fuse. and as far as leaking oil none of my friends leak oil, and neither does mine, and i have 3 friends with the same quad. i would clean the underbody and start it and let idle for a while and see if it doesnt show up.
