Ok, an '06 HRC 450R has stock suspension, and is set to stock settings. What do I need to do to fix the front end from pushing in turns?? It has ITP XCR tires all around & are the stock tire size.

i have never ridden an 04/05 450r, only my 06. i heart a lot of people say to convert it back to the 04/05 spindles and hubs...i think i will add that to winter tear down

Get rid of the Xcr's.:p

They are a very average steering tire, although better than the Klaws. I would recommend Razr2's or if your just really an itp guy I'd recommend the GNCC's. The Xcr's have too flat of a profile.

really you think so? Im not just saying this because I am sponsored by Kenda, but I do like the klaw fronts better than the GNCC. I ran the GNCC all last year and the Klaw all this year. I love the klaw better than the GNCC.

play with your air pressures. Try putting in 10lbs of pressure and work down from there.

Loosening your shocks may work as well

If your pushing into the turns you don't want to loosen your shocks. That will just cause it more. If anything adjust your compression so there a little stiffer.

You could loosen the spring to drop the bike lower and turn up compression to keep it stiff, so I think you were both right, just misunderstanding each other.

I have not had any experience yet with the GNCC's, but have had Xcr's, Klaws(old 4ply style, not the new ones), and now Razr2's. The klaws were my least favorite. They just did not grab. I felt they were made of too hard of a compound. The Xcr's were better when new, but once the square wore off they were pretty slippery and packed up with mud too easy. The Razr2's are by far and away my favorite. I've never ridden a tire with such steering accuracy. Its just point and shoot. I'm very impressed. :) I really advised the GNCC's because they seem like they would be equally rated to a Razr2. ;)
