ok, lets see if i can get all my questions answered.
i have an 88' 250r which i tore down and i am now replacing all internals...
i have the stroker +4mm crank(which says bore 2mm out of the head for clearence) which i am putting in it...but..., it has a 4mm spacer plate with the 265 kit already done on the top end with an 86'250r piston so i now ordered the 86 68.5mm piston to replace the old, and i am having the head bored out 2mm as required. (this should work...right?)
OH YEAH AND I WOULD HAVE CONVERTED IT BACK TO 88' BUT THEY DO NOT MAKE A PISTON LARGE ENOUGH TO FIT PROPERLY.
(AND WILL I HAVE TO BREAK THE ENGINE IN EVEN IF I AM NOT BORING IT OUT?)
ok so here is my questions on that, i want to know if i will need a certain size head gasket... and also if the clearence will be correct for the head...
WHERE CAN I GET A GOOD HEAD GASKET OR COULD I USE THE STOCK ONE?
I was also wondering if i will have to put diff jets in my carb when i am finished. this should be around 280 when done.

i didnt follow a lot of what you said... but any time you put a new piston and rings in, you should break it in again with some heat cycles to get the rings to set...
