Buy my 250R engine

Freshly rebuilt Top and Bottom end 2 months before pulling out and putting into storage. Never raced. Comes with carb. Was in an 87. Should work in 86-89 and 85-86 ATC250. Motor is 100%, put it in and go.

You should probably drop your price. You can keep your reserve at whatever you want but if you want anybody to bid you should start at $300 to get people interested. Stock motors like yours don't usually fetch more than $750

wow thats a very high starting price, that almost the price of a big bore motor. i would say like the previous post 750 would be the most you get for a stock motor.

I don't care if that was just rebuilt, that engine looks like chit. I'd have to tear it down just to clean it up before I would install it. It's looks like a $300 engine with a $950 price tag.

Does anyone clean up the stuff that is put on ebay your return would be better if you put an item that looked taken care of. Just my $.02.:confused:

Sorry Fellas, Im listing this for my cousin. He said what price to put it cuz I guess thats what it was worth in its hayday. I really dont know shat about 250R's myself.

Well I showed my cousin the responses and then I figured out why he was asking so much. It is in fact a big bore and comes with a Rad Valve. I dropped the reserve a bit but I think it should be worth what im asking for whats in it. I wasnt sure about the bore sizes but he told me it was the last size you can go.
