View Full Version : Size one rear Nut that holds on the Wheel hubs (stock Axle)

I am tearn down my 440 to swap the parts over to my Hybrid YZ426F and i dont have the right Socket for the Hub nuts on the rear axle, Can anyone tell me what size the nuts are for the stock axle?

i run a 17 mm for the lug nuts on my 250ex, so your probably a 17 also use Snap-On and use an impact gun =p

like already stated the lug nuts are 17mm and the center nut for the hub is a 28mm

Well i dont have all the sockets and i'm not going to make 20 trips to the store tell i get the right one eather!! Figured i would just ask but no there allways has to be the A** whole on here that has to say somthin dumb!

Groves...it might cost some money but I really suggest buying tools you need them everywhere

the hub nut is a 27mm im pretty sure not 28

I am working on it, I'm young and dont have alot of money so i am buying stuff as i can, I do have a decent set of tools, just nothing that gose that big.. Guess i have never had the need tell now for somthin that big..

27mm Didn't work for me, I had to go into Standard sized sockets because I don't have any bigger than a 27mm.

ill go outside in a few minutes get the right size cuz i have a socket that fits my hub nut and tell you the size give me 5 mins

Maybe your nut was a bit chewed up or somthing cus the 27mm worked perfect for me.
It's either a 27mm or a 1 3/16 standard.
