I was thinking about putting the 450r front master cylinder on my bike, but would i need to use the whole 450r front brake system or would just the master cylinder work with all the 250r calipers and that?

It shouldn't matter. I've swapped out different ones before, not these two though, and didn't have any problems.

Just the 450R master cylinder will work fine, they are identical except for the color and mounting holes for the brake light switch.

i run a master cylender off of a CBR F2 street bike. its adjustable and has better flow. it is a bolt on. plus the resevior is bigger.

Hmmm, I might have to look into this. Been a long time since I've seen one of your posts Zed.

im still around, i lerk more then anything. ive been a bit busy since the wife is pregnant and buying a house and all.

anyways most stret bike resieviors will fit and work good, just pay attention to whare the connection for the brake line is on it. some wont fit becuz its on an od side. the ones from an F2 just barely clear. some fit up with room to spare.

If this is your first kid, don't worry, they're a blast. I was nervous as hell wondering what I got myself into when we had ours, kids are a piece of cake...........most of the time, well at least when they're young:p When she's a teenager, I'll probably be saying the complete opposite. haha They'll never cease to amaze you, my little girl always makes me laugh.:)
