ER + 14:1 = problems?

just wondering if any of you ER guys had a high compression piston and how it starts.

not sure if the 06 and 07 have the adjustable compression release like the 05's, but i put a 12:5.1 compression 500 bore kit in my 05 and it was a beast to start on the factory setting. so i adjusted it and got it starting just like it was stock. turns over easy. no problems.

I have a 13.5:1 in mine and she starts up no problem.

I have a .020" milled head plus a 14:1 "Joe Byrd" piston and it starts as easy as ever. High compression piston does not mean it would be hard to start, you just have to make sure your decompression is adjusted properly.
