my dad and i just installed a new billet bearing carrier on my 2004 400ex..and after everything was put together the brakes dont line up? can anyone please help me on telling me what could be wrong?

What doesn't line up? Did you put the brake hub back on the correct way, it will probably slide on either direction...

yeah..the brake caliper isnt lining up with the disc..

Did you get the right carrier? You may have mistakenly got one for a 450r instead of a 400ex.. Im not sure which one off the top of my head, but one is slightly longer then the other..

we didnt ...im pretty sure..it fits perfectly inside the swingarm..and everything fits right..just the brake caliper isnt lining up..

Oh yeah everthing will fit like its suppossed to it would seem.. But the brake stay side is the difference.. The rotor will sit to far in for the caliper..

The 400ex carrier is 1/8-1/4 in longer than the 450R carrier, and would throw the brake off, or did you put the rotor hub on backwards?

no everything is on right..im starting to think its a 450r carrier like TMS said...
