ATTENTION WISCONSIN, ILLINOIS, and IOWA RIDERS!!!

There is a group in Gratiot, Wisconsin that is currently trying to rezone 100 acres of agricultural land to commercial and open a riding park. Initial plans include three motocross tracks, a pee wee track, mud pits and drag strips complete with lights, timers and radar. Right now they are planning on being open Wed-Sun. during season. Everything is ready to go and they will break ground as soon as possible but the land needs to be rezoned. There will be a meeting in Gratiot, about an hour East of Dubuque Iowa, 7 miles North of the Illinois/Wisconsin border and about 30 minutes West of Monroe Wisconsin. The land is also directly on the Cheese County ATV trail, so riders can unload anywhere from Belmont all the way to Monroe and actually ride to the park.
The rezoning meeting is schedueled for July 11th at 7:00PM. We need to get as many people there at the meeting to show the township board how much support there is for this and how successful it can be. The more people that are there showing support, the better chance we have of the land getting rezoned! PLEASE tell your friends, riding and racing buddies and hopefully we can get a ton of riders there for the meeting. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions or comments! Thanks again!

yo, i may be able to get a few people to come up there on the 11th, but only if i can talk em into riding the trails , and then say, well hey, since were here, lets just stop by, lol. im in madison and i would love another decently close place to ride

Thanks for making this a sticky, hopefully we can get enough people there to show support and as soon as it is open I'm sure I can arrange a exriders day at the park.

We go riding there a lot and a park like that would definately add a lot to it, especially if there was camping there. Sure wish I could go to this meeting:( (to bad it's not this sunday, we are going riding there)

Even if you can't make it to the meeting please put your name and where your from..see if we can get a quick petition on here. It would be much better if you could come in person but if not this should be better than doing nothing! Thanks!
