ok i just ordered a brand new bearing carrier from east coast atv..its a billet aluminum...twin row bearing or whatever..anyways..my dad and i put it on and put everything back together right..but now my back brakes dont line up and the brakes lock up my axle..has anyone experienced this? did i do something wrong? i need help..its a 2004 400ex

The same thing happened to me and i just bought a smaller bolt and sanded the one side one the hex head so it would clear my swingarm and then put a nut on the other side. I hope this helped you out any.

my whole brake assembly needs replaced is what my dad said..but he wasnt sure why it wasnt lining up..and the piston in the brakes fell out..so it needs replaced? right? its my first time so im just learning..but thanks dude

well are the holes lining up for the bolts or is the bolt for the top mount not clearing the swingarm, cause that was my prob....

the holes are lining up..what it looks like is the piston is pushing out when its supposed to be in..and we had to push it back in but it keeps falling out causing the brake pad to lock up on the disc..and so with that the axle wont move...

Everything is installed and the caliper piston is falling out?

If that's the case review the installation procedure closely, sounds like something was missed.
